There is something wrong with me - is usually where people begin to seek therapy. I take that phrase and propose an alternate perspective. People are not problems to be fixed but beings to be known. Pain, grief, frustration, anger, sadness, anxiety, depression and many other issues that are brought to the therapy room are better addressed when better understood. I choose to take on an integrative and holistic approach to therapy which gives each person the freedom to explore the many different facets of who they are that contribute to the concerns they present.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, life transitions and relational concerns. I understand that these issues may manifest differently according to each unique client which keeps me open to learning and adapting to whatever the client needs.
It is not easy to share your pain and hardships with someone - but your healing and peace is worth that hard work. There is a lot of trust you put into a therapist and I do not take that lightly.
