I am especially experienced with childhood trauma, family dynamics, chronic pain and illness, grief, anxiety and depression, and life transitions.
I will be curious about who you are and help you connect to your inner experience and body in session. I work well with people unpacking their past and their childhood, curious to see how it might be impacting who they are today. I can help you to manage chronic pain with pain reprocessing therapy, and other tools like mindfulness and breathing.
I am described as being warm and approachable, and I can hold space for big emotions and intense thoughts in a non-judgmental way. I build connection by being genuine, curious, and respectful. I draw on many tools I have learned as a clinician and educator to help adapt the sessions to your needs.

Pain Reprocessing Therapy Group In Person April 8
Pain Reprocessing Therapy is a highly effective treatment for chronic pain (back, neck, migraines) and chronic illness symptoms like fatigue, ME/CFS, nausea, and dizziness. This treatment also helps insomnia, depression and anxiety. Learn about the neuroscience of pain, and the pain fear avoidance cycle. Somatic Tracking will be used to observe sensations and increase tolerance for discomfort. We will also learn how early emotional experiences and tendencies like perfectionism and criticism may contribute to pain and other symptoms. Jillian is an experienced group facilitator who has run multiple PRT groups with the BC Brain Wellness program.
