I have experience in helping people with depression, chronic pain, anxiety (e.g., panic disorder, generalized anxiety, social anxiety), and PTSD associated with motor vehicle accidents. I also help people with difficulties coping with other stressors (e.g., work) by addressing assertive communication skills, supporting clients with problem solving and processing meaning of life events.
I practice Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and generally have a collaborative client-centred approach to help people tap into their resiliency and strengths. I believe it is important to provide my clients with a framework and education to understand and demystify their psychological and emotional experiences
Contact me and we can figure out if we could be a good fit.
