Working with me, we can explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours and make deeper connections between your present life triumphs and challenges with past woes and future worries. I work with individuals who are seeking collaborative support to manage general mental health concerns and improve their wellbeing. Common goals addressed in therapy are to develop self acceptance, increase sense of belonging, strengthen connections with others, improve communication style and gain peace over emotions.
My framework is dualistic as I work both from a holistic and parts perspective. We will explore the unique experiences that have shaped you, and discover how these impacts are shared by and help connect you to others. By bringing clarity and peace to your relationship with Self you can begin to cultivate more joy to your life and relationships!
As a therapist, I draw from both academic & experiential knowledge of various psychological approaches to connect as one human being to another. I like to tailor sessions to client strengths; sometimes that may be helping apply theory to bring clarity or it may involve being a non-judgemental witness to shared emotions.
