With an extensive background in public mental healthcare, I am excited to apply my therapeutic experience to my private practice, located inside the Refresh Centre for Health and Wellness. Integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), interpersonal techniques, and a feminist-therapy lens, we will work together to find a compassionate path to healing.
Finding the right match is crucial when choosing a counselling professional, and a good connection is everything. I strive to show up as authentically "me" in sessions, which (while skilled and professional) is generally conversationally, including real expressions of emotion, transparency, a balance of compassion and challenging, and humor when appropriate.
