Hello, I am glad you are here! Reaching out for help can be scary, so as a therapist, my main priority is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space so we can collaboratively work on the issues you are experiencing. In sessions, we will explore your thought patterns, emotions, and maladaptive behaviours and learn tools and techniques that will help you live a more meaningful, stable life. Through our work together, we will discover your strengths and learn how to implement them to solve problems in your everyday life.
Some of the issues I enjoy working with include emotional or psychological abuse, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, sleep, boundaries, attachment styles, relationship patterns and trauma. I offer both individual therapy for people ages 12+ and couples counselling.
I have five years of experience working with those in the local sexual assault community. I also have training in Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and I am a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional.
