Hi! I am glad you are here. If you are struggling with emotional abuse, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, or relationship issues, finding a counsellor you connect with is important. I know that reaching out for help can be scary, so I aim to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible. My space features a cozy couch, and coffee, tea, and snacks are always available.
I have post-graduate training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2). I am also a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional and have completed courses in narcissistic and gaslighting treatment. Most recently, I have become a certified Brainspotting practitioner.
Based on my education and certifications, I use a variety of methods, including skill-based and somatic interventions. I aim to help you understand the root of the issues you are experiencing by examining your thought patterns, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we work collaboratively to create goals and learn healthy coping mechanisms.
