Have you felt invalidated or disbelieved? Does managing stress, anxiety and repetitive thoughts feel overwhelming? Do you constantly feel like you’re burning out or overcompensating because your needs are rarely accommodated or you fear being your authentic self? As a Social Work Counsellor who is Autistic, queer and transgender, I know what that feels like and I can help! Exploring our experiences and identities without judgement can shift limiting perceptions that perpetuate shame and open us up to having more self-acceptance and self-compassion.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, integrating practices that feel right for you. Alongside talk therapy, I use body-based and creative techniques that support emotional regulation and encourage building body awareness. Together, we can tailor your coping strategies to navigate internal and external hurdles.
As a neurodivergent person who has had my experiences disbelieved and invalidated, I understand that it is important to find community and individual support where you feel safe and understood. I offer free 30-minute consultations and would feel honoured to be a part of your journey!
