Are you looking for the right fit and just can’t seem to find it? Frustrated by feeling like you’re the one educating the clinicians? I work with clients who have trouble finding professionals who understand them. Clients whose lives, relationships, and understandings differ from the neurotypical, heteronormative, and monogamous centered by western society. I have special interest in working with clients who may describe themselves as belonging to these groups: Neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, Ethically Non-Monogamous, Kinky, and/or those involved in non-traditional family/relationship dynamics. I believe that all individuals are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I collaborate with you to create an individualized treatment plan to address your concerns. Depending on your needs, we can draw from solution focused, cognitive-behavioral approaches, attachment-based, narrative, mindfulness based, or parts-work perspectives.
I am a queer, genderqueer parent, and I have lived experience in non-traditional relationship dynamics. All these experiences come together to inform not only my practice of counselling, but also my understanding of the complexities of humanity and the uniqueness of every individual client that I see.
