Throughout my life and career, I have helped others to deal with a diverse array of challenges, including issues related to illness—both chronic and terminal—parenting, behavioral concerns, and substance use. I have significant experience working with Indigenous peoples in community settings, where I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face, as well as the resilience and strength within these communities. My experience also encompasses supporting individuals grappling with substance misuse, racial issues, trauma, grief and loss, PTSD, and anxiety.
With the insights gained through my personal experiences and education, I have come to appreciate the transformative power of therapy. I strive to foster a non-judgmental environment, recognizing that we all face challenges that can be difficult to navigate. Establishing a positive, collaborative relationship with clients is essential to my practice.
