It can be hard to step into life the way you want when struggling with painful thoughts, emotions, or experiences. Asking for help takes courage. I offer a welcoming and supportive space for you to engage in the work of healing and change. I am passionate about working with people who feel hijacked by their thoughts, emotions and behaviours, and with couples who are finding it difficult to feel securely connected. In therapy we work collaboratively so that you can gain new insight, experience healing, and find creative, workable ways to tackle difficult behavioural, emotional, or interpersonal problems.
I focus my practice in anxiety (all kinds) and compulsive disorders (OCD, BDD, Trichotillomania). I also work with people experiencing low self-esteem/self doubt, relationship difficulties, life transitions, adjustment concerns, PTSD, and trauma. Models of therapy include Acceptance and Commitment therapy, CBT, CPT, and EFT for couples.
