I am a licensed professional counsellor in Regina, SK. I work with individuals who struggle with worry and often find themselves overthinking and feeling stuck in their own thoughts. On the outside, things may seem fine, but internally it feels exhausting and frustrating. I also work with students of all ages (kindergarten to post-secondary students). School can be a tough time. Many students struggle with socializing, loneliness, stress, self regulation, disorganization, and lack of routine and habits. As a former teacher, I understand the impacts that these struggles can have on student's mental health.
​I work with children ages 5 and up and adults. My areas of interest and experience are anxiety,social anxiety, OCD, phobias, ADHD, self-esteem, self-compassion, and identity. I believe in a strengths-based approach, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. I also use a feminist approach to help empower girls and women.
My counselling practice exists to empower individuals in Regina and across Saskatchewan to reach their goals. I do this by encouraging clients to look at what is working and what is not, while building on their strengths. By figuring out what works for you, you can begin to understand yourself better and let go of the things that are holding you back.
