Welcome to my practice. I believe that every person has the capacity for change. Counselling helps us unearth our internal compass, also called our inner intelligence, intuition, or higher self, so that we can relearn how to trust ourselves again. This is important work. Together, I will help you develop your capacity to respond to life's circumstances and manage the discomfort that you are experiencing. Our pain, anxiety, sadness, love, and joy all have important information for us. They can reveal what is required of us to heal, grow, and even thrive.
My counselling services are collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed while rooted in a holistic body/mind/spirit approach. I draw from various theoretical lenses and philosophies, including Existential, Adlerian, Internal Family Systems, Jungian/Dreamwork, Feminist Theory, Gottman Couples Therapy, CBT, EMDR, and Attachment-based Therapy.
My goal is to honour the dignity of each person in the room, so that you can experience support and encouragement in the specific ways you need as an individual, couple, or family. I work with clients based on a mutual agreement that we are a good fit and a shared commitment to engage with sincerity and trust. I welcome you and I look forward to meeting you.
