Major life events can take a toll on our mental health. Even positive transitions can leave us feeling anxious, depressed and alone. My great passion is empowering clients, who include women, children, youth, individuals and families, with the knowledge and skillset to endure difficult passages in life to arrive at a place feeling secure and fulfilled. I have experience and have completed supervised practicums in Substance Use Services, Adult, Children, Youth and Family Counselling, and Career Counselling and Program Development.
No single approach works with the multitude of circumstances life brings us. I’ve trained and worked in a number of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness for Addiction Therapy, Play Therapy and Art Therapy
