I know the challenges of asking for help, and the idea of going to a therapist for support can be difficult or scary. Knowing this, I take special care to create a safe and comfortable environment for you. My clients would describe me as a genuine, down to earth person with a good sense of humour. My practice has associates and interns at a reduced rate.
Counselling is not just for those in crisis. It can also be for those who are going through a difficult time, a change or a new stage in life. A lot of us rely on friends or families when we are going through challenging times. However, this is not always possible or ideal. I believe a knowledgeable and caring professional can be incredibly helpful.
My years of experience and education have enabled me to help numerous clients set and attain their goals in many different areas. I regularly attend workshops to offer evidence based, current approaches. Recent workshops I've attended: polyvagal , trauma treatment, advanced anxiety certificate, OCD care.
