In my private practice, I specialize in assessing and treating developmental challenges in children, adolescents, and in some cases, young adults. I have experience diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities, amongst other challenges that present in children/adolescents. I am well versed in doing psycho-educational assessments and can identify giftedness for school placement. I have experience providing therapy (online and in person) to children and youth struggling with various medical conditions (e.g., chronic pain, Tourette's syndrome) and sleep challenges.
I am a PhD level Clinical Psychologist, specializing in child and adolescent psychology. During my graduate training, my research was focused on identifying early symptoms of ASD in infants at risk for the diagnosis. Much of my work has been centred on working with children/youth with neurodivergent developmental trajectories, in assessment and therapy.
I am an advocate for evidence-based care, whether it be in assessment or therapy, and will never push for services that are beyond what I think your family needs. I really enjoy working with kids, helping parents find answers, and looking for meaningful ways to help my clients work toward living their best lives possible.
