Psychotherapy is my second career, and that makes me stronger as a therapist. That's because, in addition to my academic qualifications and clinical training, my own lived experiences as a daughter, a wife and mother, a student, an employee and an entrepreneur help me relate to my clients in so many meaningful ways. Clients relate to my sense of humour, empathy, and desire for growth as a person and as a therapist. And they value my ability to get to the root of the issue and expertise in both practical problem-solving and supporting clients' growth.
I enjoy working with individuals with ADHD. I am intrigued by the strengths and the challenges of this disorder. I also enjoy working with clients in a period of transition. While, I understand how frightening these times can be, I also see the tremendous opportunity for growth in these periods.
