I've been in practice for clinical counselling since 2010. Over the course of time, I have adopted a practical and evidence-based approach to clinical counselling. Some of my areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, inter-personal relationships, family of origin challenges, career/work and trauma. I have years of additional training under my belt but I've found that it comes down to the relationship between the counsellor and the client. In this case, it's what you know AND who you want in your corner. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, and most especially those who are ready to do the work to get the life the want!
I have been a mental health counsellor since 2010. I specialize in parenting, adolescent and young adult challenges, women's issues, third-culture kid re-entry counselling, trauma, anxiety, grief & loss, and depression. I've worked in a variety of settings from non-profit to private practice. It is truly my honour to walk with someone through their journey.
I understand how hard life can be, at the same time, I believe that in every person, there is growth potential. I am continually astounded that we humans can weather the worst of storms and come out on the other side, battle weary but alive and stronger.
