Do you have a past event that affects you in the present when you think about it? Or a phobia that is causing you anxiety? I specialize in a treatment called Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) that can help you process distressing memories without needing to relive them. You are not required to share details of the past situation, but instead will be guided to mentally engage with those memories in a way that feels safe and manageable. Using guided imagery and rapid eye movements, ART allows the brain to reprocess trauma, anxiety, or other emotional challenges, reducing their emotional impact and helping you move forward.
I also have experience working with individuals facing a range of challenges, including, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, grief, ADHD, sleep difficulties, stress, emotional regulation, relationship issues and addiction. Our sessions will help you gain a different perspective by challenging any current ways of thinking that are not working for you.
I believe you are the expert in your own lived experience. Using a variety of techniques, we will work together to make the changes that matter most to you. Change is hard!
