I offer support to individuals who are seeking assistance and investing in their personal growth and development. I hope to walk alongside you, to empower you to invest in your wellness as we explore your strengths, values and areas of growth. Topics of focus may include: depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem and self-confidence, life transitions, career goals, adjusting to change, and loss. Through experiential cognitive and mindfulness exercises, we may explore your thought patterns, practice training your awareness and experiment with new coping skills.

I have been practicing in hospital and community settings, with individuals and groups with mild to severe mood disorders and mental health concerns for over 10 years. My professional training includes mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and trauma-informed care.

I offer a collaborative approach to care centred around your goals to help guide you on your wellness journey. I would invite you to email me to arrange a time to meet or clarify any questions you may have. I can be flexible in offering sessions in early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy

Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy is an evidence-based program designed to help individuals who have had depression to sustain recovery. If you have experienced depression and/or would like to build skills to stay well and learn how you could relate differently to your emotions, thoughts and body sensation, this group may be helpful for you. This group combines mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapy in an experiential group. This group will run for 8 consecutive weeks for 2 hours each session. A commitment to attendance and home practice activities is required. Intake form and phone screening will need to be completed prior to registration.
