I'm a St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador native with a passion for continued education around mental health and wellness. My aim is to create a safe space where individuals can learn how to strengthen coping skills, address daily stressors and learn how to develop and practice healthy coping patterns. I have experience working with individuals in the areas of depression, anxiety, anger, parenting, stress management, trauma, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and self-esteem. Moreover, I have considerable experience working with individuals experiencing suicidal ideations.
I generally work from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach, however, I believe it is important to remain client-centred and adapt from other treatment modalities when necessary i.e. Mindfulness, Solution Focused etc. I am currently booking virtual and in person counselling sessions.
Your sessions may be covered under insurance. Please reach out to discuss today.
