Hello! I'm so glad you made it here. It can feel really overwhelming to choose a therapist. Here's a bit about me and the work that I like to do. I enjoy working with youth and adults who are struggling with trauma, impacts of domestic violence, anxiety, body image/disordered eating, depression, life transitions, suicidal ideation, ADHD, family and peer conflict, and substance use disorders. I also work with family members and caregivers, helping provide tools in order for them to better support their loved ones. I strive to create a warm and safe space for people to process the big (and small) things in their lives!
I draw from many different counselling frameworks including Intersectional Feminist Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Ultimately, I believe that the connection between the counsellor and the client is the most important thing for therapy to work!
