As a clinical, health, and rehabilitation psychologist, I provide assessment and treatment for adolescents and adults for a range of issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, worry, depression, trauma, panic, social anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, insomnia, grief, anger, relationship issues, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, coping with chronic illness and pain, developmental difficulties, and bipolar disorder.
I work primarily from a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework, though I also provides dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. My practice is LGBTQ2IA+ positive.
I work toward providing clients with a safe and trusting space to address some of life’s most challenging issues. Through my warm and genuine nature and unconditional positive regard, I work to create a strong and collaborative alliance with clients. I recognize the strength and resilience individuals bring to therapy and include a focus on self-compassion.
