Hello! My name is Jen (they/she). I am a Registered Psychotherapist and have been in private practice since 2016. I help people learn about themselves, gain perspective, and build skills that work for them. I strive to make clients feel safe and supported. I offer a space where clients can process information, try coping strategies, and express themselves. My practice is informed in trauma, consensual non-monogamy, disability justice, and religious trauma. As well as queer, gender, and neurodivergent affirming.
I use a “toolbox” approach in therapy, meaning I adjust my approach to the needs of my client. Many people come to me for help with: communication issues, emotional regulation, executive dysfunction, grief, life satisfaction, mood disorders, negative self-talk, neurodivergent related topics, trauma and 2SLGBTQ+ related topics.
I’m from out East, but lived out West and overseas as well. I'm queer, neurodivergent, fat, and non-binary. On top of my MA in psychotherapy, I have a BA in Fashion Design, a B.Ed. I have worked a wide range of jobs and volunteer positions over the years. My experiences help me connect with clients on many levels. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
