As a Registered Social Worker, I provide various forms of support to the Black youth population across the Greater Toronto Area. I assist them with anxiety, depression, identity and belonging, community engagement, wellness, education, and spirituality. My goal is to help them comprehend their lived experiences, manage their thoughts and emotions, and recover from their trauma. To achieve this, I take a collaborative, person-centered and strength-based approach, working with youth to set goals and reach their full potential.
My areas of expertise cover a broad range, including youth counselling, spiritual counselling, group counselling, cultural responsiveness, coaching, wellness, mindfulness, anxiety, depression, suicide intervention and prevention, mentorship, community engagement, career coaching and education.
My passion is to make a positive impact in young people's lives by helping them develop a stronger sense of connection and engagement with their community, as well as a greater awareness of their identity.
