I am an EMDR Certified Therapist. EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, and Somatic Experiencing are evidence-based approaches that help take the pain, heat and "ick factor" out of overwhelming and traumatic experiences. We can’t change the fact that these things happened, but we can stop them from getting in the way of the life you want to live now.
I believe deeply in every person's capacity to heal and grow when given a safe, supportive, and respectful place that allows them to do so, including neurodivergent-affirming care. New coping strategies will lay the groundwork for you to get started right away, and from there we will find paths towards healing that work for you.
