We all face hurdles in life, and I believe individuals possess an inner wisdom that can help overcome these obstacles. I strive to create a setting where therapy can be fun and empowering as we work together to discover this inner wisdom. My goal is to foster a judgement free environment, enhancing opportunities to reflect, be heard, and develop skills to achieve confidence extending beyond the therapeutic setting. I believe our body gives us cues that as we learn to tune into can encourage us to understand, process and cope with our emotions - this can support one to navigate both concerns and resources with a renewed capacity.
I practice from a collaborative, attachment based and trauma informed approach, drawing on Somatic-Relational, Emotion-Focused and other evidence-based treatments. My passion is working with parents, children and adolescents to create a harmonious home environment which instills confidence and calm, as I know first hand how challenging parenting can be.
I have spent the last 20 years providing support to children, adolescents, adults, and their families in various capacities through school, community, post-secondary and private settings.
