Building a safe and trusting relationship with my clients are very important, as well as ensuring the client feels me being present, and allowing them to have a voice. While I am not Indigenous, I have worked hard to be a strong Indigenous ally. I respect and believe in the teachings aimed at First Nations approaches to therapy and sensitive issues facing First Nations and Metis communities. I understand the effects of colonization and residential schools have had on Indigenous people.
Jeanine is an approved provider with NIHB and Victim Services as well as multiple other insurance providers and has experience with trauma, grief & loss, physical, emotional, sexual abuse, domestic violence, mental illnesses, anxiety and addiction.
