When life stressors become overwhelming, we can turn to familiar ways of coping. We can become stuck in a cycle as though we are playing a scene on repeat. It takes courage to interrupt this cycle and I commend you for taking the initial step toward meaningful change. Since 2017, I have supported individuals who struggle with a wide range of concerns: anxiety, depression, interpersonal trauma, shame, relationship issues, emotion regulation and loss/grief. I also have extensive experience working with people who struggle with eating disorders/body image, and those who are enduring the challenges of integrating their cultural identity
My practice is grounded in empathy and warmth, with the goal of understanding your specific difficulties - how they developed, how they are maintained, and how they can be changed. From this understanding, we will work collaboratively using integrated evidence-based therapeutic approaches to ensure that your specific concerns are addressed.
I am a registered psychologist, currently seeing clients in person via teletherapy (telephone and video). Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or to book an initial consultation. I look forward to connecting with you to discuss your concerns.
