The foundation of my work is related to the impact or the disruption various negative life experiences have on both our psychological, and intellectual development stages. This allows me and my patient to identify the root cause of their chief concern that was presented in our first session, and in many cases treating various mental health disorders such as anxiety, grief, bipolar, depression, obsessive compulsive, paranoia, and post-traumatic stress, as well. I will also share that I have both a personal, and professional interest in those who have been affected by a motor vehicle accident, and I am registered with HCAI.
Through my work I use many approaches usually under the umbrellas of cognitive behavioural therapy, (CBT) psychodynamic, and childhood development theories. I also use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to process past trauma. This means that I can treat a wide range of mental health issues and disorders.
My goal is to provide mental health therapy appointments directed at diminishing and managing your emotional distress for adolescent and adult clients. I am currently accepting new patients.
