Do you know a child or youth who is experiencing behavioural, emotional, or developmental challenges? If so, we can help! Using experiential approaches, we walk beside our clients as they recognize the power they hold to create wellness in their lives, experience growth, and reach their full potential. Allowing young people to be creative throughout the therapeutic process enables us to see the world through their eyes, which we believe is an essential part of assisting them overcome the challenges in their lives.
At Creative Wellness Counselling we practice person-centred therapy, wherein relationship is a primary treatment modality. We use interventions rooted in art and play which allow for self expression in ways that are fun and engaging. We also offer interventions like mindfulness, CBT/DBT and Circle of Courage, which can be modified for any age and/or ability.
We assist the individuals we work with in identifying strengths, overcoming adversity, and discovering new ways to express themselves. We are NIHB and Jordan's Principle service providers. We look forward to hearing from you!
