I have been working in the social services field for the last 10 years and the biggest learning experience I have is, despite change being uncomfortable at times, it is evolutionary. To be or feel misunderstood in today’s world is very common. I have personal and/or professional experience in various aspects and understand the complexities that life can come with. This includes poverty/low income communities, childhood trauma, physical and sexual assault, PTSD, addictions and mental health, self-harm, family reunification and the LGBTQ+ community.

I appreciate working from a psycho-dynamic therapeutic approach and encourage free-association which allows the individual(s) to decide the flow of conversation. Despite that being my preferred method, this is something we discuss and plan during our initial meeting to see what works best for you and/or your loved ones.
