I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental, and affirming space for clients to feel comfortable. I approach counselling through an intersectional lens to understand how people are impacted by societal structures throughout their lives. My extensive experience includes working with youth, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, survivors of violence and those with ADHD, autism, chronic pain, and disabilities/chronic illness. I work collaboratively with clients to support them while they are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. I work with adults, youth, children, couples and families.
I provide counselling through a trauma-informed and compassion-focused approach to support clients' healing. Having experienced therapy myself, I wholeheartedly appreciate the courage and vulnerability it takes to engage in counselling.
I am an Intern Therapist oriented towards intersectional. anti-oppressive, and affirming approaches to counselling. Using a Client-Centred approach, I aim to empower individuals in their healing process to help foster self-compassion, recognize strengths, and improve emotional regulation and communication skills.
