About
I work with children, teens, adults and couples facing life transitions, coping problems or mental health concerns. Depression and anxiety is very common, but I also work with loss, health concerns and family problems.Therapy is about change, but it is not about changing who we are. The person we are meant to be has been here all along. Sometimes we need help to reconnect. I work with my clients to explore patterns of behavior and thought that can keep us in small and narrow places, and to reconnect to our wiser, balanced and more joyful self.
I have a Masters' degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta and I have completed extensive training in mindfulness and body-centered therapies. I am a certified Hakomi therapist. I have also completed specialized training in play therapy, parenting, attachment, trauma, self-harm and adult self-development.
