I have a Masters degree in Social Work with 22 years of clinical experience in mental health providing Individual, Couples, Family and Group Therapy. My approach is holistic with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. My approach incorporates both a Trauma Informed lens and Mindfulness based strategies. My experience is extensive and emphasizes how our thoughts and emotions impact our ability to move forward in wellness.
Clinical Specialties include the successful treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, and the treatment of Eating Disorders (AN, BN and BED). The primary treatment approaches used include CBT, DBT, Exposure therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness/Meditation and grounding techniques working with adults and youth.
We all feel and behave exactly the was we think. Our thoughts have the power to hold us back, have us remain stuck or help us to move forward. With this knowledge we have the ability and are empowered to change everything.
