I am a registered psychotherapist serving people online throughout Ontario. I am a clinical counsellor who also has special training in pastoral care. As a counsellor I focus on healing deeper root issues driving mental health symptoms often showing up as anxiety, depression, and more complex presentations such as, obsessive compulsions, addictive patterns, complicated grief, emotional dysregulation, and more. These deeper root issues include shame, unresolved grief, early emotional injuries and existential fears. Yes, recovery involves mental and emotional processing and integration, but the deepest healing involves more.
Pastoral psychotherapy understands that recovery involves the whole person. It also requires us to find a new centre in our lives away from unhealthy needs and attachments in our quest to find meaning & hope. I am rooted in the Christian tradition and often provide Christian counselling for those looking to integrate their faith into their healing process.
This is a safe and non-judgmental space for all people who need care. Virtual counselling can be a very warm and effective experience, where people can receive care from the comfort and convenience of home.
