Hi, my name is Jaleena and I am a Registered Social Worker and owner of Marisa Rose Wellness, offering Counselling, Therapy and Nutrition Support in Huron County, and virtually across Ontario. My goal in working with you is to help you build capacity to be able to safely process and heal emotional wounds. I use an integrative, neuro-informed and holistic approach. I place an emphasis on restoring balance in mind-body-soul, while utilizing a trauma informed, strengths based approach. I love to blend cognitive and somatic practices to allow the body & mind to process, heal and integrate.
Research on Memory Reconsolidation has identified how we can update problematic core beliefs held within our subconscious mind. I have specialized, Trauma Informed training on how to encourage Memory Reconsolidation during sessions. When triggered, your core beliefs can be updated leading to improved mental health.
