If you are looking for a soft place to land where you will be met with compassion, care and a space free of judgement, welcome. I aim to create a space where you can have a real, intentional, meaningful counselling experience that is catered to your unique needs. I approach my work with care, empathy and when appropriate, humor. I am trained in a variety of modalities (such as CBT, ACT, MI, Gottmann Theory) and pull from them as needed to create counselling that is collaborative and prioritizes your needs.
I have extensive history working with substance and process addictions (porn/sexual addiction, gambling, food, videogames).
Other areas of speciality include couples work, LGBTQ identities, depression, ADHD and body image/self esteem. Registered to complete hormone and surgical assessments through TransCare BC.
I recognize that building trust and rapport are key to effective and enjoyable therapy.
