I have extensive history working with substance addiction & all forms of mental health. I aim to create a space where you can have a real, intentional, meaningful experience; I will meet you where you are at and work with you to reveal your strengths and goals. I approach my work with care, compassion and a dash of humor! I use a variety of modalities (such as CBT, ACT, MI) that I cater to your needs and situation. My counselling is collaborative and prioritizes your needs.
Areas of speciality include couples work, LGBTQ identities, substance addiction, pornography addiction, gambling, depression and body image/self esteem. I recognize that building trust and rapport are key to effective and enjoyable therapy. Your goals are important to me and remain in mind as we work to navigate the obstacles in your life.
Offering conventional office based therapy and video sessions, or if you like being out in nature we can meet up at a local trail for a walking session.
