About
You’ve made the decision to choose change! Growth is essential to the human experience and I look forward to helping you make positive changes to your life. I have extensive history working with substance addictions & all forms of mental health. I aim to create a space where you can have a real, intentional, meaningful experience; I will meet you where you are at and work with you to reveal your strengths and goals. I approach my work with care, compassion and a dash of humour! I use a variety of modalities (such as CBT, ACT, MI) that I cater to your needs and situation. My counselling is collaborative and prioritizes your needs.
Some areas of speciality include depression, LGBTQ identities, substance addiction, couples work and body image/self esteem. I recognize that building trust and rapport are key to effective and enjoyable therapy. Your goals are important to me and remain in mind as we work to navigate the obstacles in your life.
Offering conventional office based therapy and video sessions, or if you like being out in nature we can meet up at a local trail for a walking session. Please reach out to me for a free consultation! Certified FNHA designation.
