I offer mental health counselling for pregnant and postpartum women, as well as women with primary and secondary infertility, families who have gone through the process of adoption, and families who wish to explore and develop skills related to parenting. I also have experience working with clients who have PTSD and complex trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and OCD. I have received specialized training in the area of perinatal mental health, as well as EMDR, and Internal Family Systems Therapy in addition to my Masters in Counselling Therapy.
I employ a holistic, integrative approach to treatment, incorporating CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, therapy, among other therapeutic interventions, depending on what is best for each individual client. My office space is warm, safe, and inviting, with a changing table, comfy chair and breastfeeding pillow, and baby toys if needed.
The journey toward parenthood is one of the biggest life transitions individuals and couples can face, and while it can be wonderful, it can also be difficult, overwhelming, and filled with intense emotions. I am committed to supporting individuals and families in finding balance and wellness throughout the perinatal period and beyond.
