My approach to each session is to be with you, through truly listening, providing a judgement-free environment, respectful challenge, and mutual participation throughout the therapeutic process. As a team, you and I will process the emotional, cognitive, physical, familial, and spiritual factors impacting your life, and preventing you from achieving your goals.
I continue to work in private practice, treating individuals and couples in the following areas: stress, anxiety, depression, relationship counselling, fertility and weight loss. I use the modalities of emotion-focused couples therapy, emotion-focused individual therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychotherapy, and EMDR.
Saibil also volunteers her clinical skills with Kutana WEMA, a Kenyan-based organization whose mission is to rehabilitate street children through holistic care and support, and attach them to stable families. Jaime is a part of their peer consultation program, which matches Kenyan-based counsellors with internally based counsellors for peer support.
