About
Therapy can be a transformative & empowering experience. Developing awareness of yourself & your relationships can allow for enriching self growth. Through our work together we will identify resources, skills, & patterns in your life that are effective as well as areas where you may want to change or improve. We also look at & process any events or self-talk that may be keeping you stuck or causing distress. I will work collaboratively with you to identify what would be most helpful for your therapy, keeping in mind your unique personal & cultural experiences, while developing a trusting & respectful therapeutic relationship.
If you're experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, university issues, perfectionism, a life transition, PTSD or betrayal trauma please know that therapy can help. I work with a variety of different people and specialize in recovery from betrayal trauma (which is the experience of having a spouse who is sexually addicted).
It can feel vulnerable & overwhelming when searching for a therapist to work with. By researching therapists, you're taking a courageous first step in your journey. If you have any questions about therapy, my therapeutic style and or approach please call me for a free 20 minute phone consultation.
