Life can feel overwhelming as we're caught in the same cycles, but also exhausting as sometimes life just seems to happen to us. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives as no one has walked more in your footsteps, than you. While you might have access to all of this information, it can be tricky to navigate it by yourself. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I'm excited to learn about you and your experiences as we reflect on the various intersecting factors of your life. My therapeutic foundation that facilitates this process is a blend of Emotion-focussed, Solution-focussed, and Somatic therapies.

I believe that we have a few streams for accessing information about ourselves: Our thoughts from our mind, our emotions/feelings from our heart, and our sensations from our nervous system. Depending on the presenting concerns, we may spend more time with certain modalities. I view myself as a collaborative facilitator in the counselling process.

It takes a tremendous amount of courage to access counselling and I'm glad you're considering having me join you on your mental health journey. If you're ready to take your next steps in learning about yourself and moving towards the person you want to be, I'm ready to walk alongside you as we figure it out together.
