I am a Clinical Social Worker with an MSW in private practice. I have over 20 years experience in working with adults facilitating individual and couples therapy. I have extensive experience in treating anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma and issues with self esteem. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy for individuals, as well as Emotion Focused Therapy for couples (EFT-C).
I have extensive experience in treating Eating Disorders, weight preoccupation and body image concerns. I worked at the Renfrew Centre in in the US, a specialized treatment facility for Eating Disorders utilizing CBT and Emotion Focused Therapy in the treatment of eating disorders and mood disorders.
Our practice works as a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of Eating Disorders, and often liase with physicians, dietitians and other providers as needed.
