In my practice I work to help you feel grounded in yourself, attuned to your needs, and equipped to shift behaviours that are no longer serving you, so you can meaningful changes for yourself. Together we will sort out what you think would be most helpful to you, while I hold space for the emotions and circumstances surrounding what's happening for you. Clients have shared that after conversation they feel lighter, less alone, and have tools to cope when times feel unmanageable. My aim is to support you in a way that you find helpful, and to hold an inclusive space for you where you feel safe enough to be seen and heard.
I have over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health in various settings, working with broad range of people and lived experiences. Some concerns I work with are anxiety, depression, burnout, difficult family dynamics, cultural identity, and racialized trauma. Some approaches I draw from are include CBT, ACT, and Anti Oppression Psychotherapy.
