With over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations as an Ontario high school teacher, Ivona understands the unique emotional needs of people. Ivona holds two Masters' degrees: one in Education and one in Counselling Psychology. In both programs, she graduated on top of her classes with awards and distinctions

Ivona's approach is rooted in empathy. She believes in meeting her clients exactly where they are, acknowledging each person's struggles, and assembling insights as to what past traumas keep them stuck. Next, Ivona takes a deep dive with you into your past and emotional experiences to help you reshape the way relate to yourself and others

Ivona strongly believes in the power of parts work, also knows as Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Depending on the client's individual needs, she also incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFiT), CBT, Narrative Therapy, or any combination of these modalities. Regardless of the therapy, Ivona will challenge you so you can see things differently
