Does parenting seem harder than it should be? Do you struggle with guilt and overwhelm? Are you concerned about raising a child in the digital age? While there is an abundance of parenting literature available, it can be confusing to navigate so much, sometimes contradictory, information. What's different about my approach is that I focus, not just on behaviours, but on what your child is expressing through behaviour. My goal is to help you get back in touch with your natural parenting intuition and make sense of your child, so that you can parent from a place of understanding and connection, instead of frustration and overwhelm.

I help you meet your child's developmental needs. Many fundamental activities, such as free play, outdoor play, time in nature, interaction in the real world, are now endangered, as they have been widely replaced by digital activities. The tragic result is a sharp decline in child and teen mental health. Let me help you navigate this difficult time.

I also specialize in play therapy, using Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT), an evidence-based approach to working with kids aged 3 to 10. Play is the natural language of children. If you are concerned about defiance, aggression, anxiety or other troubling behaviours, CCPT can help your child safely express and work through their emotional difficulties.
