Hello, radiant soul! I am a Social Worker and Art Therapist specializing in trauma. I work with children, adults, and families, guiding them to uncover and embrace their resilience and inner resources. I aim to create a safe, nurturing space for self-discovery and transformation through the creative arts. Each individual is the artist of their own life, using a unique palette to define their identity and experiences. As a guest on their inner journey, I help navigate the emotions, memories, and stories that shape their sense of self. Together, we explore creative pathways to heal, grow, and develop stronger coping skills.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and emotions-focused. I facilitate a process that has the therapeutic goal of cultivating self-compassion and acceptance and helping my clients to unburden themselves of the feelings of shame, guilt, and helplessness that hold them back, emphasizing playfulness and creativity.
I accompany my clients and their families through significant transitions that can be difficult and occasionally traumatic. I work with parents who face the hardships of this demanding role, children and families in adjustment to separation and divorce, immigration into a new country, welcoming of a new family member, or dealing with grief.

I apply a trauma-focused approach to creative arts and play therapy, which uses creative expression to enable individuals to process and heal from traumatic and distressing experiences. It integrates art-making techniques with therapeutic principles to address the impact of trauma on a person's emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. Healing is in playing, playing leads to healing!
