Irene Mary Haire
Art Therapist, MC, RCAT
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a Registered Art Therapist and I work with adults, children and adolescents individually, with couples, families and facilitate groups . My experience with individuals includes working with people with mental health problems, such as depression, bipolar, anxiety, addictions, trauma, relationship problems and many others conditions that relate to family of origin developments. I believe in client empowerment and by using whatever strategies that you want to use with me, I will help you.
My training includes psycho dynamic therapy with art therapy strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy for mental health problems and addictions. I am trained in EMDR, Hypnosis, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) that I use for trauma treatment, mental health problems and emotional regulation. My training for couples includes Gottman's Couples Therapy Level I and II.
Art therapy is a gentle approach to exploring many mental health issues, emotional upsets, trauma and relationship problems by creating an art expression and exploring what the person wanting change sees in the art expression. Currently I facilitate an art therapy drop in group for men and women and an Emotional Regulation group for women.
