I am a firm believer we all grapple with various challenges in some form or the other; for instance, addictions, tussles in relationships, difficulties in various stages of life (child rearing, retirement, divorce, loss of loved ones, juggling with tough schedules). My listening skills provide my clients a safer place to walk through the path of their feelings and experiences.
I am a social worker who has worked with diverse groups of people and individuals.My varied experience of working with indigenous communities, immigrants and various cultural groups has extended my therapeutic lens. I also speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy as a primary approach in counselling.
