Welcome to my site. I hope you find this information helpful and informative. My passion is to assist and empower others on their journey of self-discovery. I am a Masters of Social Work (MSW) and a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. My approach is one of transformation through non-judgment, listening, support, empathy, and insight. I operate from a Trauma-Informed Approach (TIA) in acknowledging the sensitive concerns that exist within the clients that I work with.

I love to work with highly sensitive people at a stage where they want to drop the toxic drama and begin to engage in life rather than react to it. I love working with couples and individuals who need a different framework because their current model of the world isn't working anymore. In the second half of life, we look to relate to the world, not manage it.

How could a car, your boss, the classroom, the smell of marijuana, or a second-story window make your thoughts race & hands shake, with massive amounts of anxiety? Your well-meaning friends say “we all have something,” and it feels like no one understands. What you’re feeling is very real. In 2003 my spinal cord was punctured during an epidural procedure. It led to chronic pain. Several years later I suffered a stroke. When the ambulance came, they were convinced I was drunk. Only problem: I don't drink. I know what it’s like to be misunderstood. It’s provided me with empathy & understanding as we work together on your healing path.

Currently, we provide online counseling services exclusively, featuring a talented team of counselors from diverse backgrounds who can tackle a wide range of mental health issues. Our primary goal is to nurture the holistic well-being of our clients, addressing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects through exceptional counseling services. We cater to individuals, couples, and families, tailoring our approach for each unique client. In the event of client dissatisfaction with a therapist, we pledge to either find an appropriate replacement or suggest an unaffiliated alternative expert to ensure their needs are met.

Victoria is a Registered Psychotherapist who has completed her Masters of Counselling Psychology. With years of experience as an educator, Victoria has an authentic way of connecting with families, couples and children. She is highly empathetic and dedicates her time to understand each clients’ perspectives, needs and experiences. Her purpose is to guide clients to evolve, to heal and become empowered to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

Nancy Kane R.N. BScN ; CPMHN(C), is a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Her 25 years of clinical experience include intensive work with individuals and couples dealing with trauma and attachment issues. Nancy has worked extensively with adults diagnosed with depression, anxiety, addictions mood disorders and PTSD, She is certified in Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Strength Based Resilience Training and Cognitive Processing Therapy into her practice. Nancy has worked extensively with First Responders with PTSD.

My career as a therapist started as a career in theatre and film due to my love of narrative and storytelling. Over time, I became more interested in how the stories we believe about ourselves shape how we live our lives. I use scientifically supported treatments like CBT to explore these stories and see how helpful or not they are. Of course, we often already know that something isn't working, but it can be hard to believe anything different. To that end, our sessions usually include seeking out new experiences to develop new perspectives. My clients tell me they're surprised by how much more they can do than they first thought.

Finding fulfillment, joy, and balance in life often requires a listening ear, a supportive collaborator, and a confidant. For the last 20 years, I have been privileged to assist people to find deeper meaning and understanding in their lives by exploring emotional, mental, behavioural, physical, and spiritual coping skills.

I worked for 17 years providing community based therapy/counselling as an Addictions Therapist with a premier mental health and addictions hospital. Recently I have been the Senior Clinician with a community based mental health services program. I offer personalized and confidential services with a non-judgemental, empathic, and supportive approach. Along with Addiction based services for individuals and their family members, I have worked extensively with parent-teen and family based conflict, relationships, domestic violence, trauma, anger management and conflict resolution, mental health (eg. anxiety, depression, grief/loss, OCD, stress, suicide) as well as school refusal and peer difficulties.
